TIMELESS 5.0

The frag smells strong. It has a sharp hint to it like old/classic barbershop fragrances.
Performance-wise it held it's ground even in the humid rainy weather, i was not expecting such a great performance maybe because it was the scentedelic fragrance I tried. Stays on clothes for 10+ hours. Kicks way above its price. I was also sent a complimentary sample of jazz along with my 10ml purchase.
Waiting for 50ml bottle to get back in stock.
I tried the OG long back in time and can't compare as I only remember that I liked it hence I tried this.
P.S. Not for weak noses or if you don't like barbershop fragrances. I am not an expert so I refrain from commenting on the notes

The house of Scentedelic sets their bar by not only concocting inspired versions of niche frags but also bringing some of the gems which are no longer available or has been reformulated. Timeless 5 is an excellent alt for the discontinued YSL Rive Gauche. This opens with a sharp star anise and citrus profile followed by clean lavender and then dries out on patchouli and oakmoss. Super refreshing and commendable longevity in the Indian humid summers. Truly timeless in creation.

I have tried a lot of very aromatic and barbershop frags, but in a space of Fragrances that scream like Ralph Polo Greens, this cuts through the crowd and makes it presence felt entire day. A tamed beast inside 50ml bottle.

Really well done Fougere. I haven't smelled the original, but this recreation is a classic barbershop fragrance, that dries down to a creamy / powdery lavender that smells divine. I prefer older style compositions (absolutely hate sweet vanilla notes that almost every hyped frag of the past few years seems to feature), and this is right up my alley. Signature scent worthy, when you are a gentleman who does't need shouty or gimmicky scents.
